Event Type

The workshop participants have received their drafts and warping instructions in anticipation of the long-awaited workshop from Edna Devai! Edna can show us many ways to improve our weaving skills. This round robin workshop is geared to advanced beginner weavers and anyone who wants to learn tips, tricks and finer points of designing, weaving and finishing their textiles. Techniques for color, contrast, scale, structure and proportion will be discussed and shared. Towels will be used to illustrate these techniques and principles.

We will be meeting in the Carriage House of the Julie Penrose conference Center behind the Broadmoor Hotel at 1661 Mesa Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

Please note that the hours of operation have been limited to 9AM to 4PM. When we get close to the date, Kathy Dailey will email you if we are able to bring our looms in earlier on day 1. Please be flexible with these challenges and considerate of everyone around you. Lunches will be provided. Please bring a mask, we will know later if they are required but we want everyone to feel comfortable in the indoor environment.
