Biography

Sandra Hutton taught textiles, clothing design, tailoring, and merchandising of textile items at the university level for nearly 20 years. She learned to weave in graduate school but didn’t own a loom until she left teaching and took a job with flexible hours in Colorado. Since that time she has bought a variety of looms and has experimented with many weave structures. A new Jacquard loom is keeping her busy. She holds the Certificate of Excellence in Handweaving, Technical Skills level.
