Peggy Doney has always been fascinated with color since her first box of crayons. This love of color has led her into the mesmerizing world of spinning. Her yarns celebrate the texture and luster of a wide variety of natural and synthetic fibers and give a medium to combine those textures with the color she loves.
Peggy’s work has been juried into shows in a number of states. Her skill with the dye pot has led her into the Treenway Silks team as one of their regular dyers.
Peggy knows all the dyeing jokes, has lots of dye pots, and now uses her big box of crayons as reference material. She makes her home in Colorado Springs with her fiber-enabler husband, Jeff, and two undyed white dogs.
